A picture of Alex Balaban, DDS of Smile Arts Dental Dr. Alex Balaban has been practicing dentistry for more than 15 years. Focused on cosmetic and restorative dentistry, he is a member of the Indiana Dental Association, Indianapolis District Dental Society, DOCS-Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, Invisalign, Lumineers, and Perio Institute of Implantology.

From 1990 to 1995, Dr. Balaban was studying to get the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from the State Medical University of Republic Moldova (former USSR). From 1998 to 2002, he was studying to earn the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry and successfully graduated with Honor of Excellence.
